Software Development Project Manager
The ideal candidate will be an experienced software development
project manager. This individual will have significant experience in
effectively managing multiple software projects concurrently.
Requirements:
Experience with
leadership, management, coordination and motivation of a software
development team
Minimum of 5 years
experience in software development using C and C++
Experience with real
time streaming protocols, such as RTSP and RTP
Experience with
database design and development
Experience with digital
video compression is preferred
Master (preferred) or
B.Sc. degree in Computing Science or Electrical Engineering
Windows/Linux Software Engineers
The ideal candidate will be integral in producing new product
features and assist in the ongoing development of current software
applications. The position is characterized by short development
cycles with a focus on time-to-market design and implementation
principles. The position will also require participation in the UI
design and conceptual development of various features.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years
of experience in C/C++, MFC, HTML, XML STL and the Standard C++
Library
Experience in ActiveX,
Netscape Plug-ins and Java
Experience in
Windows/Linux multi-threaded programming
Knowledge of TCP/IP and
UDP protocols
Knowledge about
multicasting protocols, such as IP multicasting
Experience with real
time streaming protocols, such as RTSP and RTP
Experience with
database design and development
Comprehension of
existing and developing image/video compression technologies is an
asset
Master (preferred) or
B.Sc. degree in Computing Science or Electrical Engineering
Embedded Software Engineers
The successful candidate requires C and assembler experience on
DSPs and microprocessors in order to implement high-end image
compression for consumer product devices and related applications.
Emphasis is on algorithm optimization.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years
of assembler and C/C++
Experience in real-time
multi-processor systems, x86 and TI C64xx/C67xx DSP
Comprehension of
existing and developing image/video compression technologies is an
asset
Master (preferred) or
B.Sc. degree in Computing Science or Electrical Engineering
VHDL Design Engineers
The successful candidate requires experience in designing
digital systems, employing various field programmable devices, ASICs,
microprocessors/microcontrollers and/or digital signal processors
for embedded applications. The individual will also be responsible
for the use of modern VHDL and synthesis tools in the
design/development and simulation/verification process.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years
of Verilog/VHDL experience required
Experienced in high
frequency design on FPGA
Verilog/VHDL code
optimization to Altera/Xilinx FPGA architectures
Embedded processors
PowerPC, NiosII, MIPS and TI C64xx/C67xx DSP
Comprehension of
existing and developing image/video compression technologies is an
asset
Master (preferred) or
